SUG 2021 ELECTIONS: LET THERE BE PEACE; A PRESS RELEASE BY IYEOMOAN EMMANUEL EHIZOGIE
Greetings, my beloved people, AAU students – leaders in whom I am well pleased.
It is with great concern that I write to you this glorious Wednesday the 4th day of August 2021. Today, history has been made again. Today, we students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, came out en masse and some in their secret places, to vote in student-leaders for the next Student Union Government, 2021/2022 administration.
While the election process was a scattergram of some sort, muddled with irregularities and high-handedness leading to the suspension of the election, I must plead with the over 30,000 students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and lovers of *IYEOMOAN EMMANUEL EHIZOGIE*, to keep calm and continue to broker peace. Truly, the most potent means to the resolution of conflict is dialogue, not physical outbursts that put us all on the edge.
Therefore, I on this note thank my supporters for maintaining the peace in troubled times as these, and appeal that you remain peaceful and law abiding.
No student of Ambrose Alli University is more of a student than the other, and I assure you that your grievances are valid and shall be treated with the gusto that it desires.
God bless you all and love live Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
Humbly Yours in Service,
*IYEOMOAN EMMANUEL EHIZOGIE*
