RT. HON. SERGIUS OGUN MOVES MOTION FOR THE REHABILITATION OF ANGLE 80 – AMENDOKHIAN ROAD
The distinguished honourable member representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. ( Barr.) Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun has moved a motion on the need for the federal government to reconstruct Angle 80- Amendokhian Road which leads to the permanent campus of the National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) Uromi, Edo State.
While presenting the motion on the floor of the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ogun stressed that “if urgent steps are not taken to rehabilitate the road, the National Institute of Construction Technology and Management would continue to suffer poor accessibility and security challenges such as armed robbery and kidnapping”. The motion which received the green nod of the house was adopted as presented.
For the records, the Amendokhian stretch of the ever-busy Angle 80- Ugboha Road is currently in a deplorable state of total disrepair replete with numberless potholes and bad spots. It is hoped that the federal government would do the needful as soon as possible.
