RE: UGBOHA ROAD PROJECT
My attention has been drawn to some fallacious and malicious social media publications which seek to disparage and make mincemeat of my efforts to construct Inemen Market Road, Ugboha in Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State. In the warped imaginations of the implacable critics, they tried unsuccessfully to churn out false narratives about the well-conceived and well-intended road project which was facilitated by me in fulfillment of my avowed commitment to providing modern public infrastructure and basic amenities for the greater majority of rural communities in our fledging federal constituency.
While I would not want to glorify the mischievous hallucinations of the attention-seekers by restating their baseless accusations here, I wish to make it abundantly clear that due process was followed in the award of the contract for the aforementioned road project. It is pertinent to state that the project is still a work in progress. It is yet to be completed. Suffice it to say that the issue of drainage which formed the bulk of the sterile hallucinations making the rounds on the social media will be done in no distant time. The contractor is on it.
Rest assured that I can never, have never and will never be a party to substandard or white elephant projects. I have a penchant for quality and excellence. Long before I answered the call to serve my people, I used my hard earned money to grade all earth roads in Ugboha, Uzea and environs for several years without biting an eyelid. If I did all that back then in my capacity as a private individual, why would any right thinking individual think that I would want to soil my reputation now that I am occupying a public office? Does it make sense? Capital NO!
To conclude, let me reassure my teeming supporters and constituents that all projects initiated and facilitated by yours sincerely WILL be executed to specification. Please discard and disregard any story/information to the contrary.
God bless the good people of Agbazilo, now and always!
