Nigeria at 61: Hon. Joe Ikpea, calls for prayers
A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and a former Commissioner for Oil Gas and Solid Minerals, Edo State, Hon. Joe Ikpea has joined the rest of the world to celebrate Nigeria on her 61st Independence Anniversary.
The former Commissioner believes that Nigeria would sure come out of her challenges, adding that Nigerians should continue to pray for the nation.
Hon. Ikpea in a statement to commemorate the 61st independence day of Nigeria, called for prayer for the nation and her leaders.
The APC chieftain urged the good people of Edo State and Nigerians at large to pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria.
He said Nigerians should pray for our leaders and those in places of authority for wisdom to pilot the affairs of the nation.
“We celebrate our great nation, the giant of Africa, world’s most populous black nation on planet on her 61st Independence Anniversary. I call on dear people of Edo State and every Nigerian both at home and in the diaspora to pray for the nation.
“Let us not give up but remain prayerful and believe in the Nigerian project. Nigeria will soon come out of her challenges.” Hon. Ikpea said.
