INTERESTING: Meet Osamudiame Elimigbe, a pacesetter and creative Esan young lady leading a platform for legitimate business support

While most youths of nowadays spend their time trying to defraud others of their hard earned money and some selling their body to make endmeans, this young lady, an SSCE holder is setting the pace and showing good example of how youths can still make it in life through legitimate means. In this interview with Radio Esan, the young Entrepreneur from Esan South East LGA of Edo State x-rayed how youths can start up small businesses with little or no money. According to her, with your phone, you can run a legitimate business if you have the training and support from our platform.
In her words, “our focus is to entrepreneurially engage, educate, enlighten, equip and empower Entrepreneurs with the aim of helping them set-up (and run) small business enterprises profitably and sustainably, to build and incubate African’s largest Community of highly skilled, informed, organised and formalised digitally. Members to Intrepid Entrepreneurs Community (IEC) help and support each other by sharing business ideas and information, giving and getting business referrals and brokering linkage that enables members to overcome day-to-day business challenges. Radio Esan: Tell us your name, origin and educational background.
Pacesetter: I am Osamudiame Elimigbe, from Esan South East Local Government Area, and SSCE Holder.
Radio Esan: What is the mission and vision of this project?
Pacesetter: To Entrepreneurially engage, educate, enlighten, equip and empower entrepreneurs with the aim of helping them set up and run small business enterprises profitably.
Radio Esan: When was this project inaugurated?
Pacesetter: May 2021.
Radio Esan: Who are the target beneficiary of your Outreach?
Pacesetter: Young and old who has the mind of starting their own business.
Radio Esan: What are your modus operandi for selection of beneficiaries?
Pacesetter: Members of Intrepid Entrepreneurs Community (IEC) help and support each other by sharing business idea and information, giving and getting business referrals and brokering linkage that enables members to overcome day to day business challenges, entrepreneurial hurdles, and lingering startup struggles.

Radio Esan: How has the project impacted in the youths?
Pacesetter: Though the group is a new one, the youths have gained business ideals, many have also discovered that with very little and with your phone in your hand, you can start or do legitimate business without defrauding anyone, what people call Yahoo, Yahoo.
Radio Esan: What message do you have for the youths?
Pacesetter: Youths need to be independent, not relying on anyone for financial assistance all the time. They should try to start their own business right in their home and this is possible.
Radio Esan: Who are your sponsors?
Pacesetter: No Sponsors for now but we are looking forward to getting assistance from those who genuinely want the youths to grow in legitimate business.
