Ikekato Secondary School is one of the most brilliant school in Esanland, very strong in Literature in English – Emiator Jonathan
Ikekato Irrua 13th October 2021.
An independent observer and stakeholder of Ewu Book Fair, Mr Emiator Jonathan has opined that Ikekato Secondary School, Irrua is one of the best schools in Esanland.
Emiator made this remark while speaking to Radio Esan in Irrua after meeting with stakeholders in preparation for the third edition of Ewu Book Fair 2021 coming up on the 5th day of November 2021 at Kings Star Hotel and Suite LTD, Ewu.
According to the oil and gas business mogul and an alumnus of the famous Ewu Grammar School, Emiator stated that he is delighted and overwhelmed of the young and promising intellectuals coming out of the prestigious Ikekato Secondary School most especially in the field of literature in English and it’s related fields of studies.
“As you can recall, Miss Cynthia Chima whom we promoted her first novel in 2018 Ewu Book Fair was an SS 2 student of Ikekato Secondary School then. This time around, another young promising writer, Miss Ivie Ahianbale, an SS 1 student of same Ikekato Secondary School has again brought a very powerful and well written book to our publishing desk for publication and promotion. This is inspiring and motivating considering the major lack of interest in writing among the younger generation. I can only but conclude that Ikekato Secondary School is among the best in Esanland. That school is worth commending for creating such a motivational settings for young authors to emerge”, he told Radio Esan excitedly.
