Edo Dynasty United Organization Prepares To Clean-up Edo Cities, Plant Trees, Sensitize the Public On Preservation of The Environment During World Earth Day 2021

In preparation for the observance of the World Earth Day 2021 in Edo State, the Edo Dynasty United Organization Worldwide in collaboration with Creative Merry Makers, is reaching out to stakeholders and making solid plans to ensure that the global event has positive impact in Edo State.
Today, officials of the organization delivered letters to agencies in some parts of the state to seek partnership and create awareness of the event.
Inquiries about the various types of trees, their relevance, nature and cost was also carried out by the Chief Logistic Officer, Mr Bevy Efe and the Acting Assistant Secretary, Comrade Cynthia Bright who both visited Blessed Flowers and Tree Garden, renowned Horticulturist in Benin City. After touring Blessed Gardens, Mr. Efe in a live report to his organization re-interated the need for care of the environment through planting and preservation of trees. According to him “trees help to preserve our ecosystem and solidify the earth. Trees beautiful the environment as well as preserve human life from the harsh effect of global warming resulting from depletion of the ozone layer”.
Efe therefore called on Edo people and residents to join Edo Dynasty and it’s allies to mark this year World Earth Day with the theme “Restore Our Earth” and a sub theme: “Save The Environment, Protect Edo land ecosystem”.
Among the activities lined up for this global event include: Environmental Sensitization on proper waste disposal , tree planting and preservation campaign, an Edo City Clean-up Exercise, press release, press conference and other related activities to promote the safety of the environment.
The World Earth Day 2021 shall commence on the 22nd through 25th days of April 2021. See posters and handbills for details of event schedule.
